Republican Lawmakers Introduce Over 106 Restrictive Voting Bills In 28 States
Written by Andre on February 5, 2021
Things happening that we must pay close attention to across the country. This one is voting.
Across the United States, Republican lawmakers have introduced bills that would restrict voting. This is pretty much backlash from this past election and they are still claiming voter fraud. I’m just going to say it. They are trying to stop the black vote.
Let’s talk about Georgia, the state that Republicans were not supposed to lose to the Democrats. Thanks to Stacey Abrams the run-off elections were won by Democrats. That pissed off Republicans and because of this, they are now trying to pass a bill that would restrict voting by absentee ballot. Put it this way you would have to be 75 or over to vote by absentee in Georgia and have ID to return your ballot. That is if the new bill is passed.
So far this year 28 states have introduced bills that would call for stricter voter ID. In New York State 93 bills were introduced and one of them includes limiting voter registration access.
So again stay informed, pay attention, and stay woke!
