Where to pick up free energy efficiency kits in Rochester

Written by on November 14, 2024

The City of Rochester and RG&E are collaborating to distribute free energy efficiency kits to residents as winter approaches. These kits, aimed at helping households save energy year-round, include LED light bulbs, door sweeps, power strips, and faucet and shower head extenders.

The kits will be available at Rochester’s neighborhood service centers on Monday, November 18, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., while supplies last. Residents can pick up kits at the Southeast (320 Goodman St.), Southwest (923 Genesee St.), Northwest (400 Dewey St.), and Northeast (500 Norton St.) Neighborhood Service Centers. This initiative is part of RG&E’s ongoing effort to promote energy efficiency in the community.
