The University of Rochester and Rochester Institute of Technology have confirmed that several of their international students have been affected by recent visa revocations.
At least 11 U of R students and recent graduates lost their visas, with nine removed from the federal student visa system.
This follows a reported government crackdown on foreign students involved in pro-Palestinian protests.
Both universities say they are supporting affected students and monitoring the situation closely.
