Town of Greece Cancels Memorial Day Parade

The town of Greece just recently announced that the Memorial Day Parade will be canceled. The cancellation was made due to COVID concerns.
The town stated:
“Health and safety is our priority. Our participants, our veterans, many of whom are in their senior years, are health and safety conscious of all who participate and we thought it best to air on the side of caution.”
However, the town supervisor, Bill Reilich, said the town will be planning a virtual event to still honor the day.
