Tops And Wegmans Have Something In Common

Wegmans announced earlier this week that they’re adding plexiglass to all checkout lines inside all it’s stores in our area. Now Tops Friendly Market will also do the same for all their 162 stores in New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont.
The goal is protect employees and customers from spreading the Coronavirus to each other.
Along with the plexiglass at checkout lines cashiers also wipe down the conveyor belt after each transactions made.
Wegmans employees are wearing facemasks and gloves to protect themselves from being exposed to COVID-19.
Both grocery store chains are promoting social distancing during this time it’s not to make individuals feel as if they all have germs. Both companies number one priority is the health and safety of their employees and customers.
