There’s A New Vaccine Eligibility Tool That Rochester Regional Health Is Providing That Schedules Your Appointment Too

Rochester Regional Health has launched a new online vaccine eligibility and scheduling tool this week and officials are claiming that it works better than the tool the the New York State Department of Health has.
According to RHH vice president chief nursing officer for ambulatory services Rebecca Alley, if someone answers “yes” to any of the eligibility questions, you won’t be asked any more.
“It will tell you if you are eligible to schedule an appointment. If you’re not, it will let you know that as well, but if you’re eligible you will then get the link to schedule that appointment right on the spot,” she said.
If you’re eligible, the tool will direct you to make an appointment at the nearest vaccination center. Right now that’s at the Reidman Traning Center where they have indoor and outdoor clinics. There’s also a bus line that goes straight there.
“Allocation does vary week to week, we typically find out on Sundays what allocation we’ll have for the week. Currently right now we’ve been receiving Pfizer pretty routinely which has allowed us to open this location to vaccinate.”
