Technical Glitch Hits RG&E Autopay Customers Amid Vendor Switch

RG&E is addressing a technical error affecting autopay customers, caused by a federally mandated switch to a new payment vendor.

The utility is securing impacted accounts and working with customers to resolve the issue.

There will be no service disruptions, but customers who received a final termination notice should call (800)-743-2110.

RG&E also reminds customers that it will never call to request payment over the phone.
