Stricter Gun Control Legislation Passed In The House Now Heading To Senate

Two bills for stricter gun control have passed in the U.S. House of Representatives. The measure in one bill is closing loopholes such as background checks for every gun sale including online and private sales.
The second bill would give authorities 10 business days to complete federal background checks before the gun is sold. As of now the sale of a gun could be completed even if the government hasn’t finished the background check. The time period in which the sale can proceed with the buyer is after three days.
The two bills are now headed to the Senate if passed this may lead to more expansion of gun control. For example, banning sales of military types of guns that fire rapid rounds of ammunition.
This week is a clear reason why stricter gun control legislation is coming down. The shooting and killing of 8 people at spas in Atlanta on Wednesday and a man who was arrested with an AR-15 and 113 rounds of unregistered ammunition Thursday in the area of VP Kamala Harris residence. And this isn’t even including the insurrection.
By the way, when are we going to start dealing with the real issue here in America? Because it’s not just guns it’s the culture of hate towards race and women by white people but more specifically the violence and terrorism by white men.
