Starbucks Coming Back In June
Written by Tariq on April 30, 2020
When I was out to get groceries yesterday, I couldn’t help but see the long car lines for Starbucks.
Nothing against Starbucks, but I’m more of a Dunkin’ Donuts guy.
So when I got home, I found out that Starbucks had closed over 15,000 of it stores in the US starting back on March 29th. And if you’re talking to my Starbucks aficionado, they informed me that the Starbucks I passed, is the only game in town.
Starbucks customers can still get their coffee through drive-through, if they are open. Which clearly explains why the car line was so long.
Starbucks just announced that they are looking to open up 90% of its stores domestically by early June. The financial numbers are starting to show. Starbucks sales fell 10% because of the impact of the coronavirus. It’s not all bad news for Starbucks. As China starts to go back to normal, sales are starting to increase. Which means the same thing could happen here in the United States.
