Rochester launches pediatric mobile clinic to improve access to care

A new pediatric mobile clinic from Golisano Children’s Hospital, created in partnership with the Children’s Health Fund, will bring primary health care directly to children and families throughout Rochester.

The clinic will visit schools and community locations, serving children and young adults up to age 21. 

By bringing care closer to where families live, officials hope to reduce barriers such as transportation challenges and difficulty accessing medical appointments. 

Dr. Shirley Green of the City of Rochester emphasized that the initiative is designed to make healthcare more convenient and accessible, ensuring children can receive care close to home.

Pediatric mobile clinic hits the road in Rochester
