The Mississippi Board of Nursing has closed its professional misconduct investigation into Christine Wells Wonsley, the mother of Nolan Wells.

Attorney Ben Crump called the anonymous complaint a tactic to intimidate Wonsley after she began seeking answers about her son’s death.
Nolan was found dead on Horn Island on July 6, and his cause of death remains undetermined despite an independent autopsy.
