Rochester Labor Day Parade & Offices/Services Closed

Rochester’s Labor Day Parade is set for Monday with a theme of “Putting the Unity in Community.” The parade steps off at 11 a.m. at East Avenue and Union Street. It will travel down East Avenue toward the Liberty Pole and wrap up at Main Street and Saint Paul Street.
City Hall, most recreation centers, libraries, the city’s 311 call center, and Rochester Animal Services will be closed. The Rochester Traffic Violations Agency and the human services administrative office building at 57 St. Paul St. will also be closed. Trash pickup will be delayed one day. City offices and state construction on the roads will start up again on Tuesday.
