Bad Bunny Wins Emmy For Super Bowl Halftime Show

Bad Bunny has won his first Emmy for the Super Bowl Halftime Show. He won in the outstanding variety special (live) category. “The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show Starring Bad Bunny” took home a total of seven nominations, winning music direction, choreography, sound mixing, lighting design, technical direction/camerawork and directing.

Jay-Z, also an executive producer on the show, won his third Emmy. Bad Bunny and the event’s producers and directors pulled off what may have been the most intricate halftime extravaganza in Super Bowl history. Superstar guests included Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, a real-life wedding and authentic business owners (including Los Angeles’ own Villa’s Tacos) among the set.
