In order for the asymptomatic COVID-19 testing sites in Monroe County to remain open, they need volunteers.
The United Way of Rochester just announced that they are looking for around 150 people to come forward and lend a hand so that the community can continue testing.
Jamie Saunders, President and CEO of The United Way Rochester gave a statement, saying:
“It’s a new year, and it’s a whole new call to action for the community to help combat COVID-19. We are making a call to the community, we need volunteer help and support throughout the month of January, and as long as this virus continues.”
