‘Omicron’ COVID-19 Cases Reported in New York State

Over the past few days of residing in a state of emergency, New York state has now reported five omicra, the variant of COVID-19 is in New York and is spreading. Yesterday, Governor Kathy Hochul warned us of the cases, stating that they are all downstate. According to Governor Hochul, a Long Island woman in her 60s had mild symptoms after traveling from South Africa, two other cases were detected in Queens, another in Brooklyn, and the last case is located in New York City.
Governor Hochul stated: “There is one way to address this, New Yorkers. Get vaccinated. Get vaccinated. Get boosted and get ready. We do anticipate there will be more cases.”
