NY Approves 4 Platforms for Online Sports Betting

If you didn’t hear about some of the new laws in New York for 2022, one of them happened to be the approval of online sports better. Yesterday, The New York State Gaming Commission announced that Caesars Sportsbook, DraftKings, FanDuel, and Rush Street Interactive can accept wagers beginning Saturday, January 8th at 9 am. These four online platforms have been approved by the state as they satisfy the statutory and regulatory requirements necessary to accept and process mobile sports wagering. It is expected that we will see other platforms rise, as they continue to work toward finishing the requirements necessary to launch and will be approved for launch on a rolling basis.
