NFL Hands Out Fines & Deals With First COVID-19 Cases In The Leauge

Written by on September 30, 2020

The NFL has recently shown how serious it is about mask mandates for players and coaches.

Denver Broncos coach Vic Fangio, Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carrol and San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan have received over $1 million in fines from the NFL after they blatantly ignored mask mandates.

The Tennessee Titans have suffered the first outbreak of COVID-19 in the league, with 8 of their players testing positive for the coronavirus.

The team was scheduled to host the Pittsburgh Steelers, but it’s still up in the air whether the game will take place.

Pittsburgh Head Coach Mike Tomlin said:

“We’re going to trust the medical experts. If they deem it safe for us to proceed, we’re going to go down there with the intention of playing and playing to win.”
