#Newat2 Juice Wrld Shines in “Wishing Well” and “Smile” Videos

Every weekday 103.9 WDKX-FM delivers an entire hour of new music to kick off Rochester’s Best Ride Home, hosted by Atu and yours truly Jazzy T.
One of the more emotional songs added to our playlist is “Wishing Well” by Juice Wrld.
The rising star had his first mega hit “Lucid Dreams” in 2018, and his life tragically ended on December 8th 2019.
21-year old London director Jide Carolan was recruited to direct and animate a music video that captured Juice Wrld’s essence, despite never having a chance to meet the rapper.
“It’s a weird, kind of awkward situation to be in control and direct something for somebody that’s no longer there that you never knew,” Carolan said. “When I got the track, I literally just replayed it about 2,000 billion times, just picturing what I wanted.”
Carolan, or KDC Visions, has been a fan of Juice for years and was thrilled to be invited back to animate the “Smile” video, featuring the Weeknd.
Both singles appear on Juice Wrld’s album Legends Never Die which currently sits at #2 on the Billboard 200 Chart
