National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman has become a best selling author after her incredible performance at the inauguration.

The 22 year-old Harvard Grad’s poetry books have become best sellers on Amazon, months before they’re even available.

Only hours after she read her original poem, “The Hill We Climb,” on Inauguration Day, Gorman tweeted:

“I AM ON THE FLOOR MY BOOKS ARE #1 & #2 ON AMAZON AFTER 1 DAY! Thank you so much to everyone for supporting me and my words. As Yeats put it: ‘For words alone are certain good: Sing, then.’”

Per USA Today:

As of Tuesday, Gorman’s lyrical children’s book, “Change Sings: A Children’s Anthem,” coming out Sept. 21, is at the top of Amazon’s bestsellers in books list. Her poetry collection, “The Hill We Climb and Other Poems,” also out Sept. 21, is at number two, and the printed copy of her Inauguration Day poem, which is titled “The Hill We Climb: An Inaugural Poem for the Country” and comes out April 27, is number six.
