A new Covid19 drive-in testing site is opening on Friday at the Monroe County College campus in Brighton.
First responders and essential workers can be tested for coronavirus even if they don’t have symptoms.
Testing is by appointment only. Call the NYS Hotline at (888) 364-3065 to set up an appointment to be tested.
There is also an online screening tool to share your symptoms and pre-register for testing.

The new test is done through a saliva sample and a self-administered short nasal swab in the presence of a healthcare professional.
New York State is currently administering 20,000 – 30,000 Covid19 tests per day.
Gov. Cuomo has repeatedly said that testing and tracing are key to reopening New York State.
