Mary J. Blige Teams Up to Expand Her Music Legacy

Mary J. Blige, known as the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, has partnered with Primary Wave Music to help promote and grow her music catalog. The deal will focus on marketing, branding, digital promotions and getting her songs featured in movies, TV shows and other media.
Blige has sold more than 50 million records worldwide and won nine Grammy Awards. Her biggest hits include “Family Affair,” “Be Without You,” “My Life” and “You Bring Me Joy.” She was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2024.
The partnership comes as Blige continues her Las Vegas residency, which has been extended through February 2027. She has also built a successful acting career, earning two Oscar nominations for her work in the film Mudbound.
