Kendrick Lamar’s New Single Set to Drop Before the Super Bowl

Written by on February 1, 2022

Super Bowl LVI is fastly approaching and is filled with a star-studded halftime show. While we are all excited to see Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar hit the halftime stage, we can’t help but get a little excited to hear Lamar’s new music before the show. It is removed that Lamar will be dropping a new single sometime before the big game on February 13th. This will be Lamar’s first single since his efforts on the 2018 Black Panther soundtrack, however, he has been featured on two of Baby Keem’s latest hits “family ties” and “range brothers.”

Kendrick Lamar stated back in August; “As I produce my final TDE album, I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years. The Struggles. The Success. And most importantly, the Brotherhood. May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life’s calling. There’s beauty in completion. And always faith in the unknown. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts. I’ve prayed for you all. See you soon enough.”
