Last night around 12:42 am, hundreds of witnesses took to social media and shared posts about what they saw in the sky over Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Central NY and even Webster.
Many people shared footage from CC TV cameras that shows the meteor as it breaks up in mid air. No sound can be heard, but the sky is lit up as the space rock explodes in the stratosphere.
