Heritage Christian Services Starting All Base Positions at 15/HR

Heritage Christian Services announced that it will be raising its workers’ base wages to $15 an hour, including residential staff that will raise to $15.75 an hour. Heritage Christian Services is the seventh-largest employer in Rochester.
A quote from the President and CEO Marisa Geitner: “This is a social justice commitment. People who choose a career that directly supports the health and wellbeing of others should not have to sacrifice their own well-being to do so. They deserve to earn a wage that allows them self-sufficiency. With the majority of caring professionals being women…this movement helps to move women out of poverty and decreases pay disparities between men and women.”
The organization’s pay raise will go into effect starting on May 9th, 2021
