Henrietta neighborhood evacuated due to carbon monoxide scare

On the evening of October 30, 2024, residents of a Henrietta neighborhood were evacuated due to elevated carbon monoxide levels. Firefighters responded to Navajo Circle after reports of a gas odor and detected dangerous carbon monoxide concentrations upon arrival. As a precaution, they evacuated neighboring homes due to concerns of a possible explosion hazard. RG&E crews ventilated the affected house, allowing residents to return safely. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident.
