Heatwave Brings Possibility of New Wildfires On West Coast

Written by on September 27, 2020

The West Coast is in for another round of heat as a major weather pattern rolls into that part of the country. This weather pattern will create perfect conditions for more wildfires and also a major heatwave in the South West.

Yesterday there were already high wind warnings and air quality alerts in place for most of the west including California and Oregon, which have already been ravaged by the worst fires the states have ever seen.

Even though fires can start at anytime when conditions are dry, the pattern moving in will make the air around parts of Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming by bringing in gusty winds to the already arid conditions present.
