Halloween Forecast Calls For High Winds and Rain

A high wind advisory has been issued for Genesee, Monroe, Orleans, and Wyoming County starting late Thursday evening and continuing through the following Friday evening.

This forecast is a result of a storm system passing through this region, causing a potential of wind gusts up to 60 mph! This leaves the possibility of falling trees and power lines.

There is also a potential for rainfall this Thursday evening with possible accumulations reaching 1” total. If you had Halloween plans this week, it’s not looking like you’ll have the best weather.
