Grocery Stores Begin Easing COVID-19 Rules

Grocery stores like Target and CostCo are beginning to loosen up their regulations.
Representatives have said they will be extending hours, bringing back things like free samples and changing the number of people allowed in the stores.
Some customers will probably welcome these changes, but scientists and labor groups are not convinced that the pandemic is over.
Brandon Brown, an epidemiologist from the University of California has said:
“We should keep simple prevention measures such as these in place as long as possible as we move towards reopening the economy to ensure a new wave of infections does not force us to again shelter in place.”
Premature reopening and relaxing of safety measures could trigger another surge in COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths, like the ones seen in states like Arizona and Florida.
