A new legislation signed by Governor Andrew Cuomo raise the age of marriage.
A few years back. No Cuomo stop marriages for 17 year olds with parental consent. The new law will raise the age 18 years old.
The new law will take effect on August 21st.
If you ask me I would say raise the age to 25 let these younger people live life and get the nonsense out of this system so there are most likely be more responsible when they decide to tie the knot.
