Fringe Friday: Pete Davidson Kicks Off Final Weekend (Sept. 25)

Final weekend is here, Rochester, and the Fringe is going out loud. Tonight’s big one: Pete Davidson takes the Kodak Hall stage at Eastman Theatre at 8pm, one night only. There are only a few tickets left, so if you’re on the fence, now’s the time.

Last Calls at One Fringe Place
This is the final weekend for the headliners. Cirque du Fringe: Anchors Away! is at 7pm in the Spiegeltent, followed by Shotspeare at 9pm. Just to Be Close to You plays at 10pm in The Garden Studio. When the shows let out, stick around for the Silent Disco at 11pm in the Spiegeltent. Tonight and Saturday are your last chances this year.

Comedy
Heads up: Dashboard Dramas XII (5:30 & 6:30pm) and both Bushwhacked shows (the 5pm Big Boozy Joy Fun Time Revival and the 6:30 & 8:30pm Pamper Camper) are SOLD OUT. Tickets are still available for Conspiracy Council (7pm, Focus Theater), Martin Dockery: Wanderlust (7pm, SOTA) and Extra Credit Comedy (8pm, Club SOTA, $10).

Music
You can catch the Ricky Ford Quartet at Bop Shop Records at 8pm. The Little Theatre has a free lineup all evening: Sleepy Lester and the Insomniacs at 5pm, an a cappella showcase at 6:45pm and Banjos & Juggling at 8:15pm.

Theatre
Tea Party at the End of the World has two performances (6:30 & 8:15pm) at The Garden Studio, and The Velvet Noose is at 7pm at MuCCC. Fans of dress-up can head to the Roaring 20s Time Machine at The Rose Room from 7 to 11pm.

Free Stuff
Dawn’s Spiegelgarden is open from 4 to 11pm with food trucks and the Theatre Bar. It’s a double feature at the Pedestrian Drive-in tonight: Waiting for Guffman (R) at 7:30pm and Beatriz at Dinner (R) at 9:15pm.

Saturday Preview
Saturday has a free Kids Day from noon to 3pm and the free Street Beat dance battle at MLK Park. Thomas Warfield performs in the Spiegeltent at 4:45pm.
