Coronavirus Mutation Found In Mink Has Spread To Humans

In world news, Denmark which is the largest producer of mink furs is working to contain a mutated form of coronavirus. The virus has apparently mutated in minks. The mutated version of the virus has also spread to humans. Because of the mutation and spread of the coronavirus, the Danish authority will cull all of the minks in the country.
There are 15 to 17 million minks in the country. Culling is a “better” word for killing animals to maintain the health of the heard or for the environment.
Danish authorities said they found five cases in mink farms and 12 cases of the mutated virus in humans. The concern is the mutated version of the virus may affect future vaccines.
My thoughts on this. When will we get to a point where we understand the delicate balance between nature, animals, and humans? Have we not learned our lesson yet and what will it take for us to understand our place? We are the “gatekeepers” of this planet meaning we are supposed to take care of it not destroy it.
Because of our greed, millions of animals will be slaughtered unnecessarily. If those animals were not bred on those farms to be harvested for their fur this situation most likely would not have happened. Leave wild animals alone.
Welp! Now we know for a fact there is another strain of coronavirus potentially more dangerous. Mask up, social distance, wash your freaking hands, and stay safe.
