Celebrate Black Restaurant Week July 6-12
Written by Site Hub on July 6, 2020
A section of the Urban League of Rochester called the Rochester Black Young Professionals has declared this week as Black Restaurant Week.
The event will be held from July 6-12 and is meant to showcase Black owned restaurants. Each day, one restaurant will be promoted and on the last day, participants should go to a Black-owned restaurant of their choice. This celebration will help build exposure and support local businesses during a time when they need it the most.
Many restaurants applied to be featured but the list had to be narrowed down. It follows a geographical theme that features different areas and cuisines.
More than 20 sponsors have shown their support and the complete list can be found here.
