Bands on the Bricks FREE Concert Series Continues on Friday, July 26th

Week three of the City of Rochester’s annual summer music series, Bands on the Bricks, continues on Friday, July 26 at the Public Market, 280 N. Union St. This week’s concert features headliners Into the Now, performing one of the Northeast region’s greatest Grateful Dead tributes, and Dinner and a Movie, with their outstanding tribute to rock band Phish. Admission to Bands on the Bricks is free.

The event also offers an array of food trucks and food stands, beer and beverage vendors and local vendors selling their products in a general merchandise section. 

The Bands on the Bricks series offers five consecutive Friday nights of free live music at the Public Market. This year’s series is sponsored by YourCare Health Plan. This Friday’s show is also being sponsored by WCMF.

The events take place from 6 to 10 p.m. each week.  Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with opening bands performing at 6 p.m. and headliners taking the stage at 8 p.m.  No coolers are allowed, but attendees are permitted to bring one sealed bottle of water. All bags will be checked at entry points. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring folding chairs as seating is limited on site. Attendees are also encouraged to explore and enjoy the Market District’s numerous restaurants, clubs and breweries before or after the shows.

  • Aug. 2nd- American Rush Tribute LOTUS LAND and Bonfire, a Tribute to AC/DC (Sponsored by YourCare Health Plan and Radio 95.1) 
  • Aug. 9th- Donna the Buffalo, with opener Blind Spots
