George Moses, the former chairman of the Rochester Housing Authority and alleged co-conspirator of former Rochester City Councilman Adam McFadden, is currently being charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, and aggravated identity theft.

Moses allegedly conspired with McFadden to defraud the after school program, Quad A For Kids, as well as its funding parent company, the Rochester Area Community Foundation Initiatives. The two are accused of filing several false invoices and pocketing thousands of dollars in the process.

Moses is also charged with defrauding the Rochester Housing Charities during his time as chairman. He was also charged with making false statements to the FBI back in May of 2018. If convicted, Moses could face up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Earlier this month, McFadden pled guilty to illegally pocketing $133,000 by falsifying dozens of receipts and invoices. He is currently awaiting sentencing and could face up to 21 months in federal prison.
