Atlantic City Trump Casino Demolition

At 9:00am Wednesday, February 17th, the Trump Plaza building in the heart of Jersey Shore location of Atlantic City was scheduled for demolition.

The Trump casino was open from 1984 until 2014. Since it’s close, there have been reports of pieces of of breakage falling from the structure. I guess, when he’s done,  he’s done. The business required, and so received, no further attention.
When Trump Plaza closed, it was said to be the worst-performing casino in the city. It finally went bankrupt and left behind many redundancies and unpaid bills.
Perhaps because of its’ ill visual affects and/or the owner’s varied public reception, the implosion of the building has been seen as a good riddance from the city to the name itself. Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small, Sr. stated, “This is the fitting end of Trump’s era.” Once the demolition started, cheers, laughter and crowd noises could be heard in a celebratory spirit.
