Ye Sued By Texas Pastor For Sermon Sample On ‘Donda’ Album

Looks like Ye is under fire for his Donda album in an unexpected way. Bishop David Paul Moten, a pastor from Texas, is suing West for using a portion of one of his sermons in his song “Come To Life.” According to Moten, his voice can be heard during the intro of the song and then looped through the song. Moten describes the use as another example of “willfully and egregiously sampling sound recordings of others without consent or permission.” Check out the song below:
