Russell Wilson And Ciara Are Making Power Moves

Russell Wilson and wife Ciara have put their money up for a MLB Baseball team with a group called the Portland Diamond Project. If the deal goes through this would make them part owners of a new Major League team.
Russell is also looking to bring an NBA team to Seattle as well.
There hasn’t been any information released on how much money they put in for the MLB baseball team but it is said they all put in equal amounts to cover the costs.
Rob Manfred the MLB Commissioner stated earlier this month the league is looking to expand adding two more teams but did not mention Seattle as one of the places.
On top of baseball Wilson is looking to bring an NBA team back to Seattle however he would have to get approval from the NFL before that can go down.
The reason for the NFL approval is to ensure there wouldn’t be any extra incentives for Wilson in regards to tampering especially with legal sports gambling coming.
