Lollypop Farm: 120 dogs rescued from hoarding situation, resources needed
Written by Site Hub on April 17, 2024
Lollypop Farm, a humane society based in Rochester, NY, has appealed to the public for assistance following a significant animal rescue operation. On April 16, the organization’s Humane Law Enforcement, with the aid of the Animal Emergency Response Team, executed a warrant related to a hoarding investigation on Leopard Street. During this 12-hour operation, they rescued 120 dogs, including adults and weeks-old puppies, from dire conditions at a private residence. These dogs are now being assessed for their medical and behavioral needs. Given the scale of this rescue, Lollypop Farm has urgently requested resources and supplies to support the ongoing care and rehabilitation of these animals. The investigation into the hoarding situation is still active.
