RCSD Board of Education To Get Interim Superintendent By May

After news that current superintendent Dr. Carmine Peluso announced that he is leaving on June 30th to lead the Churchville-Chili Central School District. Board of Education President Cynthia Elliott says the board has to act fast getting the right interim superintendent in place. The board met This week to iron out the criteria they are looking for in an interim. Elliott says the plan is to hire an interim superintendent for a year while they search for a permanent superintendent who can continue the work that Dr. Peluso has done. The board is looking to hire an interim superintendent by April 29th and make an announcement to the public on their decision by May 10th.
