Amazon to Hire 1,000 New Workers in Rochester

Amazon is set to host a recruitment event in Rochester this week, aiming to fill 1,000 vacancies. The recruitment event will take place on Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm at the Italian American Community Center, located at 150 Frank DiMino Way in Gates.

Amazon is offering a mix of full-time, seasonal, and part-time roles at its local centers. Roles range from “packing and picking to sorting and dispatching,” with an average hourly wage of $20.50. However, certain positions offer wages up to $28 per hour.
While walk-ins are welcome, attendees are advised to RSVP. Prospective employees are also urged to bring their work authorization papers for immediate hiring opportunities.
