Your Stimulus Checks Are Not Protected From Debt Collectors

If you’re waiting on getting the third round of the federal stimulus money and you owe any debt your money is not protected.
Now the second round of stimulus money which was the $600 payment that Congress to approved last year was protected from garnishment but that’s not the case for the $1,400 third round stimulus checks.
Do not make any plans with that money if you owe any debt.
