The Roc Holiday Village returns for its sixth year, running from December 6 to December 29 at Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Rochester. This year, the festival extends past Christmas for the first time since 2019, offering a packed schedule of festive activities, shopping, and entertainment.

Dates and Hours
The Village operates Wednesdays through Sundays, with closures on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Skating will remain open on Christmas Eve. Highlights include:

Santa’s Workshop: Open Wed-Fri (4-8 p.m.), Sat (11 a.m.-8 p.m.), Sun (11 a.m.-6 p.m.)
Ice Skating: Open Wed-Fri (4-10 p.m.), Sat (10 a.m.-10 p.m.), Sun (10 a.m.-7 p.m.)
Frosty’s Food Court: Open Wed-Fri (4-10/11 p.m.), Sat (11 a.m.-11 p.m.), Sun (11 a.m.-6 p.m.)

Activities and Events
Kickoff: The annual Lighting of the Liberty Pole on December 7 at 5 p.m., followed by a family parade.
Popular Attractions: Ice skating, Santa’s Workshop, The Lodge for live music, Simcona Gingerbread House crafts, and Mini Makers Market.
New This Year: Evening trivia, Paint and Sip events, Christmas movie screenings, and a Winter Wonderland 5K Run on December 21.
Some activities require advance tickets, including Story Time with Santa and Anna & Elsa, and Paint & Sip.

Parking
Ample parking is available at nearby garages like The Strong’s Garage ($10), Washington Square Garage, and Midtown Garage. Parking meters are free after 6 p.m. on Fridays and all-day Saturdays and Sundays.

Food and Drinks
Frosty’s Food Court hosts a rotating lineup of local food trucks like Bozza’s and Tony Pepperoni, while The Lodge and outdoor bar offer festive drinks.
