Woman rescued after falling down well in Manchester

A woman in Manchester, N.Y., was rescued after falling 25 feet down a well on Larue Road on Sunday, August 11, 2024. The incident occurred around 3:55 p.m. when she fell into the well while searching for a lost pet. Emergency responders, including police and fire crews, arrived on the scene and found the woman conscious and talking. Rescue units from Ontario and Monroe counties assisted in safely retrieving her. She was transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital with minor injuries.
