Woman From Phelps Gets Caught Stealing $750,000 From Her Job

A Woman from Phelps is facing up to two years in prison after being convicted of stealing significantly large sum of money from her workplace.

She reportedly stole over $700,000 from Finger Lakes Conveyers, Inc. when she was the director of finance, between 2011 – 2017.

Authorities say that she wrote over 400 checks to herself over her tenure there then got away with it by fraudulently recording some of the checks as business expenses.
