Rochester City School board votes yes to layoffs

The Rochester city school board voted yes to the staff cuts in order to fix the budget crisis. Over 100 teachers are scheduled to be let go. According to a reliable source, this number was negotiated down to 109, however, more cuts are to come for other jobs across the RSCD. President White and Commissioner Shepard are the two known votes against the cuts. This story is in development, stay tuned for more information.
