Who Knew 21 Savage Was Not An American And In The U.S. Illegally?

Written by on February 4, 2019

Rapper 21 Savage was arrested by ICE in Atlanta over the weekend and might be facing deportation.

Well this is one for the books. Who the hell knew 21 Savage was not from this country?

Apparently, 21 Savage who’s real name is Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph came here in 2005 and has been here illegally since 2006.

But why now? (We will get to that in a moment)

Didn’t he get arrested back in 2014 so why wasn’t his citizenship brought up then? Wasn’t he put into a detention center as a youth? How was he traveling? Don’t you have to have a social security number to “work” and did his label know? If they did why didn’t they help him get citizenship?

So many questions!

I guess that I why I’m wondering how true this even is, but at the same time ICE especially under the current administration is nothing to play with so why not fly under the radar if this is true. Not that I think about it, illegal immigrants haven’t been the hot button topic of discussion prior to this administration who is trying to prove a point to get this wall built.

You know the more I think about it the more I realize why now… The current administration will go above and beyond to prove a point to get this wall built.

Sadly 21 Savage fits the example of the picture they are trying to paint regarding illegals, they are violent and criminals.

This is a  whole mess.

We will see how this plays out this week.

According to TMZ the attorney for 21 Savage said they are working on clearing up any misunderstandings.

The rapper was also just nominated for a Grammy for Post Malones song “Rockstar.”

For now I’m going to leave you with his new video a lot ft. J. Cole might explain why – deep.
