Whew! Roommates Mariah The Scientist has the internet asking, “What’s Tea?” after she was spotted sitting courtside with Young Thug. The couple were at a basketball game, and fans seemed to think she looked a bit uneasy.

The comments follow a period of time without seeing Mariah and Thugga outside together. In fact, they’ve both been under the radar ever since Young Thug publicly apologized to Mariah after an old video went viral in December 2024, showing him on a jail call with former Taz Angels member Leena Sayed.

Mariah The Scientist & Young Thug Spark Concerns After Courtside Date-Night

Now, social media’s wondering if everything is really cool between Mariah The Scientist and Young Thug after The Shade Room dropped footage of them sitting courtside at the Miami Heat vs. Golden State Warriors basketball game.

Even though the video shows them chilling, fans think Mariah looked low-key annoyed. She wasn’t smiling and kept swinging her leg. Young Thug was lying low, too, covering his face with a partial ski mask and a purple hoodie. But no matter how she might’ve been feeling, social media couldn’t stop talking about how GOODT Mariah looked for their date night. The ‘Spread Thin’ singer rocked a leather halter top, black pants, and boots. See the video below.

Here’s What Previously Went Down Between Young Thug & Leena Sayed

The internet went wild at the end of December 2024 when a video showed Leena Sayed — now the mother of Devin Haney’s child — getting emotional while talking to Young Thug on a jail call. The clip dropped almost two months after Thug got out of prison in 2024. But once the video hit, Leena hopped on her IG Stories to clear everything up, saying the video happened before Devin. “I would never talk to Thug or any other man.”

Thug also spoke up on X (formerly Twitter), claiming there was nothing going on between them.

“Man me and twin was talking bout some whole other serious s**t, I don’t know y she spoke on loving other people or anything else cause ain giving no f**k bout no h**s or n****s I’m the capital P lol that’s my twin and nothing else. Never have never will lol.”

After the video went viral, Thug returned to X to apologize to Mariah and express his love for her, writing, “Sorry to my baby for all this bullsh*t on the internet. I love u baby and f**k em all we know what’s up with us.”
