Gov. Jim Justice announced Monday that West Virginia will be giving residents 16-35 $100 savings bonds. Right now, about 52% of the state is vaccinated. If 275,000 more younger residents get vaccinated the state will be at 70%.
“Every single one of our young people — we’re going to give a $100 savings bond to every single one that steps up and takes their vaccines,” Justice, a Republican, said at a news conference.
