After violating the pandemic executive orders, Burkes Grill in Webster got its liquor license suspended. The investigators witnessed the bartender not wearing a face mask, they were served alcohol without ordering food, and counted 12 other people at the bar ignoring social distancing guidelines.
Governor Cuomo has said that suspension orders will be served immediately and do not have a determined end date. Less serious violations can be fined $10,00 per violation. Apparently there have been 11 New York bars that have gotten their liquor license suspended due to violating pandemic related rules.
