Voter Education Events Wrap Up Friday at Rochester R-Center

Early voting begins Saturday, Oct. 24, and continues through Sunday, Nov. 1. Ahead of the early voting period, Monroe County Board of Elections staff and volunteers have spent the week at Rochester’s R-Centers, helping residents prepare to cast their ballots.

The outreach is part of National Voter Education Week, a nonpartisan initiative focused on helping people register to vote and become informed voters.
The final event will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the Thomas P. Ryan R-Center on Webster Avenue. Staff and volunteers will be available to help residents find their polling locations, learn about early voting, review the candidates and issues on their ballots, and get answers to other voting-related questions.
